the-source.life 14er packing list

The following gear is the minimum essential gear that each hiker should bring with them on a 14er. While it may seem like a little bit of overkill, you want to imagine what you would want with you if you get separated from the group and disoriented, or if unexpected weather occurs. While good planning can make these scenarios very unlikely, it is always best to be over-prepared rather than under-prepared.
